Launch set-up / London

Launching a new business in London? Everything set up by one person

I'm Obi Spencer. If you're opening a clinic, a workspace, a gym, a café or a restaurant in London and you have nothing set up yet, I can build everything you need to open: the logo, renders and a brochure of the space, the website, your Google listing, photography, signage and the ads that tell people you're there.

You deal with me, not an account manager. One person plans it, designs it, photographs it and sets it up, so nothing gets lost between suppliers.

What I set up for a new business in London

Renders and brochure before the space exists

Digital renders of your space before it is built or fitted out, and a visual brochure made from them, so you can show people what is coming before you open.

Logo, brand and business email

A logo and a full set of vector files, so your signs, print and screens all use the same artwork. If you want a complete identity, I add colours, typography and brand guidelines. I also set up a business email address on your own domain, so you're not launching from a free webmail account.

Website and Google Business Profile set-up

A website built for opening day, and a Google Business Profile set up with the right categories, services, description and hours, so people searching for what you offer can find you.

Photography and video

Photography of the finished space, your team and what you offer, shot on location, plus short vertical video for Instagram and TikTok.

Signage and print design

Design for signs, A-frames, menu boards and stationery such as business cards, drawn as vector artwork so it prints cleanly at any size.

Social media

Your Instagram or TikTok profile set up and branded to match, and, if you want it, planned, shot and posted for you every month.

Launch marketing and ads

Google Ads campaigns set up and managed for your opening, with ad spend paid by you directly. I also design outdoor advertising, including TfL station ads, and I arrange the booking through Global, who sell the TfL sites.

Not sure what you need? Tell me what you're opening and I'll say what I'd do first.

Recent launches

Apex Health is a set of health spaces inside Apex Coworking in West Hampstead. This is how its launch went, from first meeting to now.

  1. Meetings. It began with meetings about what the spaces would be.
  2. Renders and brochure. I made digital renders of the spaces and turned them into a visual brochure.
  3. A web page. I built a web page carrying the brochure and my own photos.
  4. Tube station ads. I proposed and made the tube station ad and arranged it with Global, who sell the TfL sites. The creative ran at West Hampstead and Finchley Road stations, alongside a 48-sheet roadside billboard on West End Lane.
  5. Enquiries. Enquiries then came in by email and social.
  6. The finished spaces. Once the practices taking space were confirmed, I made the Apex Health logo vector files, rebuilt the web page to show who is there, and photographed every room to advertise the ones still available.
  7. Now. I post its socials and I'm setting up its Google Business Profile.

On its new Instagram profile, Apex Lounge, a café at Apex Coworking, went from 0 to 560 followers in under 14 days, and reached 70k views in its first week with minimal ad spend. I handle its social media, photography and videography.

Denticentre is a new dental practice in Durham. I set up its website, Google Business Profile and email.

These are individual projects, not a promise of what any business will see.

How it works

  1. Tell me what you're opening. Use the enquiry form to say what the business is, where it is and what you already have.
  2. I send a written quote. I confirm exactly what you need and quote in writing before any work starts.
  3. I build it. I make and set up everything myself, and you deal with me throughout.

Common questions

Questions new business owners ask

Do I need everything on the list?

No. Tell me what you're opening and what you already have, and I'll quote for what you need.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted in writing before work starts. Prices are the same for every client, and I don't offer discounts.

Who does the work?

I do. I'm Obi Spencer, and I handle the strategy, design, content and distribution in-house, so you deal with me and not an account manager.

I'm already trading. Can you still help?

Yes. Start with the free audit: a written summary by email within 48 hours with three quick fixes and one big gap, based on how visible your business is online. There is no call and no obligation.

Do you work outside North West London?

Yes. OhBe is based in West Hampstead, in North West London, and works with businesses across London. Work further afield in the UK is possible for the right project, with travel time and expenses confirmed before booking.

Tell me what you're opening

Tell me what it is, where it is and when you'd like to open, and I'll come back with what I'd set up first.
