Social media / London

How much does social media management cost in London?

Social media management with me starts from £600 a month. That is the Digital Foundation plan, and there are two larger plans at £1,000 and £1,800 a month. Every price is the same for every client, there is no minimum term, and you can cancel with 28 days' notice.

I'm Obi Spencer. I plan the content, shoot it, edit it and post it myself, so you deal with me and not an account manager. Here is what each plan includes, what changes the price, and how to choose.

I run one café’s social media, photography and videography. On its new Instagram profile it went from 0 to 560 followers in under 14 days and reached 70k views in its first week, with minimal ad spend. That is one café’s result, not a promise of what any venue will see. See the work for cafés.

What changes the price

The three plans differ in how much I make for you each month:

  • Shoot time. One 2-hour shoot, one shoot of up to 4 hours, or two full days.
  • Platforms. One, two or three.
  • Posts and reels. 8-12 posts and 2 reels, 16-20 posts and 4 reels, or 24-32 posts and 8 or more reels, every month.
  • Community management. None, DMs and comments, or 7 days a week.
  • Reporting and turnaround. An onboarding strategy session, a monthly strategy call and performance report, or an in-depth report with priority turnaround.

What is not in the monthly price

Ad spend is not included. If you run paid ads, you pay the ad spend directly to the platform, and I can manage the campaigns for £350 a month through PPC and ads management. Websites, one-off photography and videography are priced separately, and you can have them alongside a plan or on their own.

Which plan to start with

This is my suggestion, and we confirm it on a discovery call.

  • Digital Foundation if you are starting from zero or want one platform done properly, with a brand audit and strategy session at the start.
  • Growth & Authority if you want two platforms, more reels and someone handling the DMs and comments.
  • Comprehensive Brand Management if you want three platforms, two full shoot days a month and daily community management.

How it works

  1. Tell me about your business. Use the enquiry form, or start with the free audit if you want to see where you stand first.
  2. We agree the plan. On a discovery call we confirm which plan fits and what it covers.
  3. I make it every month. I plan, shoot, edit and post, and you deal with me throughout.

How to compare quotes

Ask every provider the same questions, and compare what you get, not only the monthly figure. Here is how my three plans answer them.

  • How many posts and reels each month? 8-12 posts and 2 reels, 16-20 posts and 4 reels, or 24-32 posts and 8 or more reels.
  • How many platforms? One, two or three.
  • Is the shooting included? Yes: one 2-hour shoot, one shoot of up to 4 hours, or two full days each month.
  • Who answers comments and messages? Nobody on the first plan, then DMs and comments, then seven days a week.
  • What reporting do I get? An onboarding strategy session, then a monthly strategy call and performance report, and an in-depth report on the largest plan.
  • Is there a minimum term, and is ad spend included? There is no minimum term, and you cancel with 28 days' notice. Ad spend is not included: you pay the platform directly.

The exact scope is confirmed on a discovery call, and the price is the same for every client.
