Google listing set-up / London

Google Business Profile and Apple Maps set-up for London businesses

When someone searches for a business like yours on Google Maps or Apple Maps, your listing is what they see first. I set up your Google Business Profile and your Apple Business Connect listing, so your name, address or service area, hours, services and photos are correct in both. I do the work myself.

I'm Obi Spencer, and I work from West Hampstead. The set-up is £199, one-off, and I quote it in writing before I start.

What I set up on Google and on Apple

Google Business Profile

Business name, categories, services, description, hours, contact details, website link, photos, and a link you can send customers to leave a review.

Apple Business Connect

Your listing for Apple Maps, with the same name, hours, category, website, phone and photos, so both are consistent.

The same details everywhere

I keep the details identical on both, and on your website, so search engines can tell they are the same business.

Photos

I add the photos you send me. If you would like new ones, I can shoot them for an extra fee, quoted in writing.

How verification works

Google asks you to prove the business is yours before the profile goes live. It decides the method, and it can be a video, a phone call, an email or a postcard. I guide you through it. Apple Business Connect has its own check, usually by phone or documents.

Some businesses need to show signage, staff or a location, depending on the type of business and address. I tell you at the start what yours will need.

What I cannot control

I cannot decide where your business appears on Google or Apple Maps, and I cannot guarantee reviews. Rankings depend on Google's and Apple's own systems, your category, your location, competition, and the reviews you earn. What I can do is set the profile up correctly and completely, and make it easy for happy customers to review you.

Your reviews must come from real customers. I do not buy or write reviews and I do not offer gifts for them.

How it works

  1. Tell me about your business. Use the enquiry form to say what it is, where it is and whether you already have a profile.
  2. I confirm the price in writing. The set-up is £199, one-off, and I quote it in writing before any work starts.
  3. I set it up and guide you through verification. I build both listings myself, and you deal with me throughout.

Who this is for

New businesses opening in London that need to be found from day one, and existing businesses with a missing, wrong or half-finished profile. It is part of launch set-up. Hospitality owners: see hospitality. Want to do it yourself first? Read my checklist for setting up a Google Business Profile.

Common questions

Questions about Google Business Profile and Apple Maps

What is the difference between a Google Business Profile and Apple Business Connect?

A Google Business Profile controls how you appear on Google Search and Google Maps. Apple Business Connect controls how you appear in Apple Maps, and in apps and Siri that use Apple's maps. Many customers use both, so I set up both.

What do I need to set up Apple Business Connect?

Your business name, a contact phone number, your website, your opening hours and your address or service area. Apple checks that the business is yours, usually by phone or documents.

How long does it take?

It usually takes a few days, depending on Google. Google and Apple decide when they approve a listing.

Can you guarantee my business will show on the map or rank first?

No. Nobody can. I make the profile accurate and complete and give you a link for reviews. Where you appear is up to Google and Apple.

How much does it cost?

The set-up is £199, one-off, quoted in writing before I start. The price is the same for every client and I do not offer discounts.
