Hospitality / North West London

Photography and social content for independent restaurants, cafés and bars in North West London

I'm Obi Spencer. I run OhBe from Apex Coworking in West Hampstead, and I photograph, film and manage social media for independent restaurants, cafés, bars and boutique hotels across North West London.

You deal with me, not an account manager. I plan the shoot, take the pictures, edit them and, if you want, post them. There are no hand-offs to someone who has never seen your venue.

What I make for hospitality venues

Photography: food, drink, people and atmosphere

I shoot on location at your venue: the dishes, the pour, the people behind the counter and the feel of the room at the time of day you want to be known for. Everything is edited and delivered ready for your website, Google Business Profile, menus and social channels. An on-location shoot of up to two hours with 20 to 25 edited images (Essential) starts from £450, delivered within 5 days.

Short-form video and reels

Vertical reels shot and edited for Instagram and TikTok, built from the same visit as the photography so the content looks like one venue, not several suppliers.

Social media management

If you would rather not think about posting, I can plan, shoot and publish for you. Monthly management starts from £600 a month for one platform, and covers a monthly shoot, posts and reels. You pay the same standing rate as every other client.

Recent work: Apex Lounge

Apex Lounge is a café at Apex Coworking in West Hampstead. I handle its social media, photography and videography. Here's some of the work.

On its new Instagram profile, Apex Lounge went from 0 to 563 followers in under 14 days, and reached 70k views in its first week with minimal ad spend. That is one café's result, not a promise of what any venue will see.

Before it was Apex Lounge: Buzz Coffee

The same café traded as Buzz Coffee before it became Apex Lounge. I photographed its drinks and events.

How it works

  1. Free audit. Tell me your venue and I'll send a written audit by email within 48 hours: three quick fixes and one big gap, covering things like your Google Business Profile, website, reviews and social presence. No call needed.
  2. Plan the shoot. If the audit is useful, we agree what you need, when your venue looks its best and what the pictures are for.
  3. Shoot and deliver. I shoot on location, edit and deliver. If you've chosen management, I carry on posting each month.

Common questions

Questions venue owners ask

Do you only work with restaurants?

No. I work with independent restaurants, specialty cafés, cocktail and wine bars and boutique hotels. I don't work with chains or franchises that have a central marketing team.

Can you shoot while we're open?

It depends on the venue. We agree the timing before the shoot, usually around a quiet period, so service isn't disrupted.

How much does it cost?

Photography starts from £450 for an on-location shoot of up to two hours with 20 to 25 edited stills. Social media management starts from £600 a month. Prices are the same for every client, and I'll confirm anything else in writing before you commit.

What does the free audit include?

A written summary by email within 48 hours with three quick fixes and one big gap, based on how visible your venue is online: Google Business Profile, website, reviews and social presence. There is no call and no obligation.
